THE VALLEY OF THE OURIKA

Departure from your hotel at 09:00 for a perfect day to the Ourika valley, nestled in the Atlas mountains to get some fresh air and see some beautiful landscapes.

On the way to the Ourika valley you will cross the Haouz plain and you will discover among other things even more beautiful landscapes, waterways and houses that look like the houses sprouting from the mountains.

There are also beautiful typical Berber villages and beautiful panoramic views.

7 km further on, you arrive at Setti-Fatma, the most fabulous place in this valley.

You will discover the waterfalls of Ourika.

In the afternoon the return to Marrakech.

Staying in Marrakech without visiting the Ourika valley would be a shame.

EXCURSION TO ESSAOUIRA

Departure from your hotel at 08:00 for an unforgettable day to Essaouira, the Pearl of the Atlantic, which is known for its charm and beauty as well as its total serenity.

The drive will take two and a half hours through vast dry and argan plantations, passing through many fields of Argan trees, the trees that produce the nuts used to make the famous Argan oil used in cooking and cosmetics.

You will have the chance to see the goats perched on the argan trees.

Visit a real women's cooperative that produces the real Argan oil.

Your exploration of this touristic city begins with a visit to the fortifications made up of an astonishing mixture of Portuguese and Berber military architecture.

Visit the medina and discover the souks, the carpentry workshops, the citadel and its small craftsmen as well as visiting the old port essentially devoted to fishing where you can catch freshly caught fish on the barbecue.

The afternoon can be spent walking on the beautiful beach.

In the evening return to Marrakech.

WATERFALLS OF OUZOUD

A pleasant day trip to Ouzoud, a small village which is very well known for its waterfalls, the largest waterfalls in North Africa and Morocco, located exactly north-east of Marrakech at about 150 km.

This waterfall is considered to be one of the most remarkable natural attractions of the Moroccan Atlas, it is more than 100 m high and offers visitors an extremely beautiful view.

During the excursion you will discover the most spectacular waterfalls and beautiful green landscapes populated by monkeys and birds, you can have your lunch in a restaurant in front of its magnificent waterfalls.

After your pick up in town, we will head to the High Atlas. Your excursion will start at the azure waters of the Lalla Takerkoust lake, the reservoir that supplies Marrakech with water from the melting snow on the summits...

Possibility to visit the mausoleum of the famous Berber saint "Moulay Brahim", continuation to the Berber village "Asni" through the Toubkal national park...

We will arrive at the Ourika valley, where we will pass through lush plantations and orchards before stopping to enjoy a delicious traditional Tagine for lunch. There are several walks available along the banks of the Ourika, a popular trail for tourists to discover a series of seven waterfalls.

Early morning departure, we will cross the High Atlas and reach the Tizi N'Tichka pass, 2260 meters high. Continuation to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, we will visit this marvellous Ksar which is registered with the world heritage of UNESCO.

Several films are shot in this setting: the mommy, Gladiator, Seven years in Tibet, Babel...After lunch in front of the Ksar, continuation to Zagora along the Draa valley, an almost uninterrupted oasis... 5 km after Zagora, camel ride of about 1 hour, in an exceptional natural environment, where the air is so pure, that the sight and sounds carry to hundreds of kilometres, where there is a silence that nothing disturbs, where you could hear yourself think...

We will attend the sunset, dinner and night in Zagora.


Day 2: Zagora - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate


Marrakech After breakfast, discovery of the palm grove and its population, a rich and diverse cultural heritage...lunch in Ouarzazate and orientation visit of the city (Kasbah of Taourirt and Film Studios) then return to Marrakech via the Tichka pass.

Departure early in the morning, we will cross the High Atlas and reach the pass of Tizi N'Tichka, 2260 meters high, Continuation to the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, we will visit this wonderful Ksars...

Continuation to Ouarzazate, visit of the city (Kasbah of Taourirt and film studios), then continuation to the Dades valley and the 1000 Kasbahs with the fascinating palm grove of Skoura, ...

We continue by crossing the most beautiful kasbahs of the "Road of the thousand Kasbahs", arrival at Boumalne Dades, dinner and overnight.

Day 2 : Boumalne Dadès - Todra Gorges - Arfoud - Dunes of Merzouga


Departure in the morning to the dunes of Merzouga, 20 Km after Tinghir, we will visit the palm grove then incursion into the Todra Gorges...

Lunch on the spot and continuation to the palm groves of Tinjedad and Touroug then to Erfoud.

Continuation to Merzouga for a camel ride through the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi and to admire the sunset which is the great curiosity of the area...

Night in nomad tents or Marabout between the dunes of Merzouga in a climate of atmosphere...

Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Nqob - Tamnougalte - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
